Having never sold a property before I was unsure what to expect, but Unicorn Homes were very helpful with the whole process, with John coming out quickly for an initial meeting, a Home Report arranged for a few days later, and an introduction to the solicitor who handled the sale. The whole thing ran very smoothly, with Unicorn handling all of the viewings. It’s been a lot of years since I have had to use an estate agent to sell a property so I asked a friend who gave me a five star recommendation for Unicorn estate agents in Mount Florida in Glasgow. And although I was in another area of the city they were more than happy to come and see me. Dario came out and explained everything and gave straight forward answers to our questions. We were told that it was a flat fee which suited us as then we knew exactly what our charges would be. After him looking around the house and me getting to know who I was dealing with we were happy for Unicorn to put the property on the market which was done within a couple of weeks as that’s what we wanted. There were no hidden fees and they worked really hard to sell the flat for us. I'd highly recommend and would also recommend taking the option for Unicorn to do viewings.

The Unicorn Homes team were outstanding in managing the sale of our now former property in Battlefield - miles better service than anything we've experienced with other (and often more expensive) estate agents in Scotland. Very, very friendly, professional and rapid 5 star service who take enormous pride in looking after their customers to the highest level. From expert advice to preparing the flat for marketing to developing bright, positive, detailed adverts, with appealing photos, floor-plan and a video, all helped reach higher number of potential buyers than we originally expected. In our case - over 15 offers presented within a couple of weeks (!) with keys handed over to new owner in 6 weeks! Highly recommended and looking forward to calling upon Unicorn Homes again in the not too distant future to assist with buying, selling or letting of future properties.

Bought a house for my elderly mother-in-law through Unicorn and decided to sell her existing house through Unicorn. The house was sold within a week for a fixed fee with many viewers and we received four offers. The purchase price was well above the asking price and the service provided by all at Unicorn was efficient, professional and friendly. Would recommend to anyone with a house to sell.

Having moved 3 years ago from Cardonald to Orchard Park Ave, having used a high profile Edinburgh solicitor/ estate agent, I was dreading having to deal with another estate agent. My previous experience resulted in extortionate fees, over estimated valuation, dreadful and impersonal service and a large hole in our budget! What a relief to actually find an estate agent who cut through all the bull**** with outstanding service throughout the whole transaction. No hidden fees, just good honest service from a proper family run business. I have already recommended Unicorn to friends which resulted in a quick sale and another extremely satisfied customer. Take my advice, stay away from slimy salespeople and stick with real people.

By the time we were ready to sell in June 2018 we were cognisant that things had changed since selling our last house 16 years before. One key difference was the number of people advertising their property now online on Rightmove, Zoopla and S1 etc. This made our wife and I realise that using standard high-street estate agents with their myriad shops in all the major cities and locations with correspondingly high staffing overheads were not needed and hence overly expensive. So initially we decided to take our own photographs and advertise our property ourselves on those websites, but we were so caught up with preparing the house and looking for another property we realised we needed to have this taken out of our hands, but not by the well known high-street estate agents. It was then a flyer came through the letter box from Unicorn Homes that ticked every box. Very small company run from a single shop front in Mount Florida but willing to advertise your property wherever in Scotland it may be located on the key online websites, all at a considerably reduced cost due to their small staffing and building costs. By the time I met Dario I was convinced we had the right company. He didn't just take us through from start to finish guiding us all the way, he is genuinely a nice person to deal with, and it is no front. So although these new up and coming estate agents are small in comparison there is no reduction in quality from the perspective of my wife and myself looking back now. Dario does his own photography reducing costs for his company even further and thus reducing costs for his clients; his walk-through videos were just brilliant and I am someone who does his own photography and professional photo editing. The result, we got the price we were looking for from our property, with the estate agent fees at less than half the price of a standard estate agent. My aging inlaws in Shetland would have sold their property too through Unicorn Homes if circumstances hadn't changed for them that hindered them from selling. I cannot give enough credit to this company, that's how my wife and I feel.
